Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdolahian called on Islamic countries to make a collective effort to end the Israeli regime’s war crimes in the Gaza Strip, Tasnim reported.

During a meeting with his Saudi colleague Faisal bin Farhan, held in Jeddah within the framework of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), he highly appreciated Riyadh’s position of support for the Palestinians.

The Iranian minister reported on his recent meetings and discussions with the leaders of Hezbollah, Hamas and Islamic Jihad, as well as regional leaders on the situation in Palestine and the Gaza Strip, saying that the United States advise others to exercise restraint, but support others, in Israel.

Abdolahian stressed the need for joint efforts by Muslim countries.

According to him, the situation in the region has reached a critical stage and can get out of control, therefore the time factor is of great importance.
