A meeting of the EU-Eastern Armenia Joint Committee on Visa Facilitation was held with the participation of representatives of the Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs of the European Commission to discuss progress and existing challenges. This was announced by the EU Embassy in Eastern Armenia.

The main objective of this agreement is to facilitate contacts between citizens and the business community. According to the latest statistics, the number of European visas issued to Armenian citizens has increased. During 2021, 62,000 entry permits were issued, including 41% for multiple entries,” the message said.
