On October 24, as part of his working visit to France, Minister of Defense of Eastern Armenia Suren Papikyan visited the Senate of the French Republic, where he held talks with Deputy Speaker of the Senate Pierre Ouzoulias, president of the Department of External Relations, Defense and the Armed Forces. Forces Committee Cédric Perran and Franco-Eastern Friendship Committee of the Senate, with the group’s president, Gilbert-Luc Devinaz. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Eastern Armenia.

Issues related to bilateral defense cooperation between Armenia and France were discussed.

The Minister of Defense presented the current progress of cooperation and the results of the discussions during this visit.

Papikyan thanked for the support provided to the development of cooperation. The senators expressed their willingness to continue supporting the development of Armenian-French cooperation.

Issues related to regional security were also discussed during the meeting.
