Baku accused Madat Babayan, a 71-year-old resident of Getavan village in Artsakh, of participating in the so-called “Khojalu Genocide”. We learn about this from the message issued by the State Security Service of Baku on November 2.
He was considered missing since September 19, 2023, during the Azerbaijani attack on Artsakh. On October 9, Madat Babayan contacted his relatives in Armenia and informed them that he was in Baku.
The State Security Service of Baku adds that he admitted his guilt and provided detailed information about what happened.
