Minister of Foreign Affairs of Eastern Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, met with the Director General of UNESCO, Audrey Azoulay, in Paris, and expressed concern over the serious risks of destruction, desecration or usurpation of heritage Armenian cultural and spiritual heritage in Artsakh, emphasizing the need for active participation of UNESCO in the protection of cultural monuments. The information was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
