On the occasion of the 125th anniversary of Yeghishe Charents, the National Library of Armenia presented “Yeghishe Charents. “Bibliography”, a complete work on which they worked for almost two years.

The presentation of the book took place on November 10 at the National Library of Armenia. According to the director of the library, Anna Chulyan, a person and a book have one thing in common: a person is born and a book is born, both bring light. A bibliography is still necessary for the 100th anniversary of Charents, it was prepared, but for certain reasons, the initiative was not implemented. Finally, on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the great writer, it was possible to compile and publish the book.

Haykanush Ghazaryan, the editor responsible for the publication, played an important role in creating the bibliography, as he was able to bring together huge and important documents related to Charents on a single platform. The 1932 drawing of Yeghishe Charents’ “Lands” by Tachat Khachvankyan served as the basis for the design of the book and its cover.
