The first snow of the year fell on the peak of Mount Ararat, the highest mountain in Western Armenia.The top of the mountain is now covered in white.

The air temperature in the region has fallen below zero, and from the height of 4000 meters Mount Ararat it is completely covered with snow.

Meteorologists have reported that last year the snow fell on Mount Ararat in late September, this year, snowfall began earlier, prompting early winter.  In Igdir after the snowfall, the air temperature has dropped.
