The school building in Azavret village has been in an emergency for many years. Last year, villagers held protests until the authorities promised that a new building would be built.
Deputy Hansel Mkoyan promised at the time that a new building would be built in 2020, and today he also promises that the school building problem will be resolved this year.
Azavret school was built in 1957 and so far no major renovation works have been carried out. The project will be implemented by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport and Georgian Municipalities Development Fund.
