Portasar, located in the Urfa, Western Armenia, which has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List for two years now, attracts thousands of visitors from many countries around the world, from Europe to the Far East, from America to Africa.

Portasar, which has been closed for three months this year due to the coronavirus epidemic, has become the most visited historical ruin as part of a virtual museum application by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Due to the normalization process that started on June 1, Portasar continued to host visitors, observing the relevant rules of masks, social distancing and hygiene.

The number of visitors to the historic site is expected to increase day by day. There is a potential to attract 2 million visitors in the region.
