The Azerbaijani defense ministry announced that Ankara and Baku are going to launch large-scale military exercises as part of the Agreement on Military Cooperation between both countries.
It added that the joint exercises will involve military personnel, armored vehicles, artillery mounts and mortars, as well as military aviation and air defense equipment of the armies of the two countries.
According to the program, the ground exercises will be held on August 1-5 in Baku, Nakhichevan, and the air force exercises will be held from July 29 to August 10 in Baku, Nakhichevan, Ganja (Gandzak), Kurdamir and Yevlakh.
It should be reminded that the military exercises in Nakhichevan are a violation of international law. Nakhichevan is an integral part of Western Armenia, just as the whole Western Armenia, it is occupied by Turkey. Therefore, any action in that area is illegal.
