The non-respect of international law by some Western propaganda intensifies the war in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

Legitimizing the war unleashed by the Aliev clan and Erdogan’s territorial ambitions, by distorting the legal reality regarding the status of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and its population, some Western media systematically use the term “Armenian separatists” to refer to the indigenous Armenian population defending its land, history and identity. (In accordance with the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and other various conventions adopted by the UN).

These media deliberately forget that Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and including Western Armenia were the subject of an international peace treaty in 1920 signed at Sèvres and that this treaty, even though it was not ratified by some of its parties, was applied by France and Great Britain in relation to the various Mandates (Angora Agreement) that these states received from the Supreme Council of the Allies.

Article 92.

The frontiers between Armenia and Azerbaijan and Georgia respectively will be determined by direct agreement between the States concerned.

If in either case the States concerned have failed to determine the frontier by agreement at the date of the decision referred to in Article 89, the frontier line in question will be determined by the Principal Allied Powers, who will also provide for its being traced on the spot.

These media deliberately forget that Western Armenia is a state occupied by Turkey since 1920, but that its status as a state cannot be questioned.

These media deliberately forget that the Armenians of Western Armenia have already undergone genocide perpetrated by three successive Turkish governments from 1894 to 1923.

These media outlets deliberately forget that the Armenians of Azerbaijan and Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) were massacred from Baku to Maragha from 1988 to 1992.

These media outlets deliberately forget that the Armenians of Western Armenia and Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) are currently fighting international terrorism without any help from “the international community”.

These conscious denials are quite serious, they will remain forever as a sign of neutrality, disrespect for human rights.
