Number of historical artifacts were confiscated in different regions of Western Armenia. The confiscated Bible in the city of Gaziantep of Western Armenia turned out to have been stolen from a museum in the Syrian city of Aleppo.

A statuette of a bronze warrior, 30 coins and  4 different items belonging to the Roman period were confiscated in the province of Koza, Adana, 2 suspects were detained.

According to a statement issued by the Kesaria Governorate, a special operative detachment of the state police stopped a car in the Melikgaz area during the control of the anti-smuggling of historical items.

During the search of the car, 153 coins and 15 historical objects belonging to the Roman-Byzantine period were found.
