The Presidential Council of Western Armenia, the National Council, the Government and the Parliament of Western Armenia are deeply saddened by the first remembrance day of Mr. Arden Shellefian.
Shellefian, whose roots are from Mush, was born on September 25, 1951 and grew up in Constantinople. He graduated from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland.
He had a doctorate in economics and with his knowledge helped various financial and manufacturing companies around the world.
For more than 12 years, he was the Chief Advisor to Frank Mueller, a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of Artsakhbank.
Shelfian was a member of the Presidential Council of the Republic of Western Armenia, the founder of the State Television of Western Armenia.
He devoted his whole life to restoring the rights of the Armenian people and defending the sovereignty and rights of the state of Western Armenia.
Arden Shellefian, President of the MITANNI Foundation, was the initiator of numerous books on the ancient history of the Armenian nation. The main concern for him was the restoration of the historical truth of the Armenian people.
Arden Shellefian, an economist, intellectual, historian, polyglot, human rights activist, statesman, ardent defender and just a man from Western Armenia, who suddenly left us. At the time, he was still working on organizing the centenary of the Treaty of Sevres.
The Presidential Council of Western Armenia, the National Council, the Government and the Parliament of Western Armenia jointly express their condolences to Mr. Arden Shellefian’s wife, children, his entire family and friends.
