The protected Kuyujuk Lake in Kars, Western Armenia, which was completely dried up last year, has hosted 110 species of birds.

Lake Kuyujuk is one of the most important wetlands in the country.

The lake, which occupies approximately 245 hectares in the Arpachay region, is located at an altitude of 1627 meters above sea level.

This year, thousands of 110 species of birds have nested in the area.
