“There are issues that are not resolved. How are we going to provide the right of return for habitants from some regions? Who is going to ensure the security of our compatriots?. How will it be implemented? ” Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Yerevan.
The Russian Foreign Minister did not directly address the issue presented by the Prime Minister. It is not clear what was the answer after the discussions. Nikol Pashinyan wrote that they had a meaningful conversation with Sergey Lavrov.
The issue raised by the Prime Minister of Armenia refers to the settlements of Hadrut, Shushi and other regions of Karabakh occupied by Baku.
On the other hand, the questions raised by Nikol Pashinyan deeply touch upon issues related to the status of Artsakh and related matters. Russia has refrained from giving any references on the status.
Instead, the status is actively discussed by other Minsk Group co-chairs, as well as Minsk Group member states such as Germany. Moreover, the United States and France accuse Russia of separatist actions.
