The water level of Lake Van Western Armenia has dropped significantly, as a result of which some historical and natural buildings have appeared in Archesh province in recent years. Following the retreat of the lake, some ruins were found in the area where the waters of the Delichai River flow into Lake Van.

It turns out that the ruins found in the area that served as a port during the Ararat kingdom date back to about 2,750 years. Armenians built various ports, one of these ports is known as Delichai Port.
