The Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Anwar Gargash stated that they have formed an anti-Turkish “front” in the Eastern Mediterranean, in cooperation with Egypt, France and Greece.

Answering the question on Turkey-UAE relations at the “Mediterranean Dialogues” forum, he noted that the reason for adopting such a position is that Turkey interferes in the internal affairs of the Arab world. “In order to overcome the regional influence of radical countries, such as Turkey and Iran, we have positioned ourselves in areas where we have no geostrategic, traditional interests,” he said.
