The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs will visit Baku and Yerevan this weekend for talks on a peaceful settlement of the conflict.

The statement came from Philip Reeker, acting US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, speaking at a briefing for members of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).

According to him, Washington continues to call on Azerbaijan and Armenia to resolve the Artsakh conflict within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs.

He added that the format of the Minsk Group is successful in itself, because in a significant part, for 30 years, there was peace, “even if fragile.”
