The Kasrik Strait in the Province of Shernaq, Western Armenia, which separates the Gabar and Judi Mountains, is on its way to being fully discovered being registered as a “specially protected area”.
Noting that it aspires to become a city with its historical and cultural values, gorges, plateaus and sports events, Governor Ali Pehlivan said: “Our town of Kasrik, with its valleys where the strait gets mixed with the Tigris River, resembles a beautiful postcard with petroglyphs, caves, unique bird species, natural shelters and a historic bridge.”
There are many historical ruins in Kasrik. There are still historical reservoirs, statues and ruined cities in the Kasrik Strait. It is also known as the “Road of Kings”.
