The new US administration believes that Turkey’s purchase of S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems from Russia undermines NATO’s cohesion and effectiveness. US Assistant of the President for National SecurityJake Sullivan told in a telephone conversation with the official representative of the Turkish President Ibrahim Kalin on Tuesday, TASS reports.

At the end of the telephone conversation, official representative of the White House National Security Council Emily Horn said Sullivan was concerned that Turkey’s purchase of Russian S-400 missile systems was undermining the   cohesion and effectiveness of the Alliance [North Atlantic].
