The 5.000 years old fences of Tigranakert, Western Armenia, which are 5 kilometers long and are on the UNESCO World Heritage List  are often on the agenda due to the number of deaths because of falls. The fact is that the residents and visitors of the city have a great desire to take photos on the walls.

The municipality of Tigranakert hung warning signs to prevent  climbing 10 to 12 meters high walls, and surrounded the stairs with metal fences.

Despite these precautions, they were climbing, breaking the iron fences. Even now the entrances to the stairs are closed with tin barriers.
