Preliminary work has begun for the province of Kemaliye, the most important cultural value in the Yerznka province of Western Armenia, to be nominated in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

An agreement has been signed between the Northerneastern Agency (KUDAKA) and the Municipality of Kemaliye as part of cultural and nature tourism activities.

The project aims to identify natural, cultural and intangible heritage in Kemalia through feasibility studies and to promote the inclusion of the region’s most important natural, cultural and intangible values ​​in the list. Thus, the number of local and foreign tourists arriving in the region will increase.
