Armenia took third place in the overall medal standings at the European Weightlifting Championships that concluded Sunday in Moscow.

Armenia won 2 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze medals in combined totals. 1lurer.am reports.

Ukraine is the first, with 6 medals: 4 cold, a silver and a bronze. Bulgaria is the second, with 3 gold, 3 silver and a bronze medal.

Samvel Gasparyan(102 kg) and Samvel Gasparyan, Arsen Martirosyan and Gor Minasyan won gold medals, while Andranik Karapetyan (89kg), Hakob Mkrtchyan (96 kg), Liana Gyurjyan(81 kg) and Varazdat Lalayan won bronze medals.
