Dear followers, we present you the full version of the commemoration ceremony of innocent victims at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial of the State Delegation of Western Armenia, available on our website and YouTube channel.
The delegation of the Republic of Western Armenia, headed by the President Armenak Abrahamyan, held a commemoration ceremony of the innocent victims at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial in Yerevan on April 28, which began with the laying a wreath at the memorial and paying tribute.
Representatives of the RWA Government and Assembly and other guests were present at the ceremony.
The RWA President Armenak Abrahamyan presented a speech, speaking about the persecution and deprivation of Armenians since 1894, noting that the act of genocide began not in 1915, as many say, but in 1894, with massacres and deportations organized by Abdul Hamid.
RWA Prime Minister Seda Melikyan also made a speech.
Dean of YSU Faculty of History, Professor Edik Minasyan made a historical reference to the causes of the genocide against Armenians and its aftermath, qualifying the Second Artsakh War as a continuation of the genocide, thanks to which US President Joe Biden pronounced the word “genocide” on April 24.
