There is a protest against the Turkish occupation because of the security crisis and difficult living conditions in the city of Ras al-Ain in the northern province of Hasakah.

The protesters condemned the crimes of Turkey and the U.S. who continue to occupy large parts of the country.

Several hundred Syrian citizens gathered for a rally against the occupation.

It is worth adding that hydroelectric power plants in Hasakah province have been unable to produce electricity for more than a week because Turkey is taking too much water from the Euphrates River. Among them are two of the country’s largest hydropower plants: “Et-Tabka” and “Tishrin.”

Recall that after 2016, the Turkish Armed Forces conducted three operations in northern Syria, as a result of which several thousand Turkish military personnel are currently deployed in this part of the Arab Republic.
