The documentary film “There Is Fire Burning There,” filmed in the village of Gandza in Javakhk, has been successfully screened at film festivals in Switzerland, Canada, Poland, Armenia, and Georgia, receiving high acclaim.

Directed by Canadian-Armenian filmmaker Marlene Edoyan, the film tells the story of the lives, choices, and dreams of three young Armenians from Javakhk while also presenting the region’s Armenian identity and cultural heritage.
