It is strange for Armenia that this year more than six dozen wagons loaded with goods exported from Armenia to Russia were returned, while Armenian suppliers have not made any changes to the quality of their goods.
Minister of Economy of Eastern Armenia Vahan Kerobyan expressed this position in a conversation with journalists at the National Assembly, referring to the problem that occurred at the Lars checkpoint, according to the latest statement from “Rosselkhoznadzor”. “We have taken the documents published by “Rosselkhoznadzor” and are studying them to understand to what extent the products produced by our businessmen do not comply with the regulations applied by Russia,” Kerobian said. “We have been invited to an urgent meeting which will take place in the next two days,” Kerobyan said.
It is worth recalling that Armenian trucks exporting agricultural products and other goods to Russia recently encountered problems at the Verin Lars checkpoint and Armenian trucks have been queuing for days at the Upper checkpoint Lars.
