In its latest issue, the well-known French weekly Le Point published an article titled “The Library Saved from Genocide,” dedicated to the Nubar Library in Paris, described as a true pillar of Armenian cultural heritage.

The publication notes that it is one of the most important centers in the world for preserving Armenian cultural heritage and the history of the genocide committed against Armenians, operating under the auspices of the Armenian General Benevolent Union.

The library was founded in 1927 by Boghos Nubar Pasha and renowned intellectual Aram Andonian, who became its first director.

Today, the collection includes approximately 45,000 books, more than 1,500 periodical titles, 800,000 archival documents, and 12,000 photographs. The library is headed by historian and Doctor of Sciences Boris Adjemian.
