A new step has been taken in the project to reactivate the historic Armenian church located in the Yıldırım district of Bursa, Western Armenia. The building adjacent to the church has been expropriated by the municipality for inclusion in the cultural center project.

The project area is expected to be expanded, incorporating the surroundings of the church into the cultural complex. Demolition work on the building has already begun.

Yıldırım Municipality aims to restore the historic Armenian church to use by transforming it into a cultural center and returning the historic structure to the city’s public life.
