The Ombudsman for Cultural Heritage of Artsakh, Hovik Avanesov, congratulated the Armenian people on the occasion of the Triple Holiday, emphasizing the historical significance of the May victories, the liberation of Shushi, and the formation of the Defense Army.

He noted that Shushi is an important spiritual and cultural symbol of the Armenian people, which is currently under Azerbaijani control. Avanesov condemned the policy of destruction of Armenian cultural heritage in Artsakh, describing it as cultural genocide.

He called on international organizations to take effective steps to protect Armenian monuments, expressing confidence that historical justice will be restored and that Shushi will once again become an Armenian cultural center.
