Conference-discussion

On the Genocide commited against  Armenians:  rights of Armenians of Western Armenia and Artsakh. 

The Symposium Association of Memory, Citizenship and Political Science, at the initiative by  President Francois Millon-Rousseau, as well as Member of  Parliament  of Western Armenia Vrej Aprahamian and Jean Ghazarossian, is organizing a conference-discussion on the following topics:

• Genocide commited against Armenians
  
• Western Armenia
  
• Rights of the Armenians of Artcakh
  
• France’s position
  

Invited speaker:

Armenag Aprahamian, President  of the National Council of Western Armenia.

During the conference, recent mechanisms will be presented  for recognizing and reparations for the genocide commited against Armenians by various countries  based on the following statement:

The National Council of Western Armenia declares that the Armenian people were subjected to genocide between 1894 and 1923, which was carried out in Western Armenia by successive Turkish governments.”

During the discussion, the legal obligations of Turkey, various states and international organizations towards the Armenian people and Western Armenia will be reaffirmed once again.

The new challenges and problems that the Armenian people are facing in Western Armenia and Artsakh in the process of restoring their statehood, as well as the implementation of strategic, legal and political mechanisms, will also be discussed.
