The "House of Warriors" was full of guests  for a conference on Misak Manushyan and on  the French Resistance, organized by ANACAS and the National Council of Western Armenia in Antibes, France

The President of the Republic of Western Armenia Mrs. Lidia Margosian and the Mayor of Antibes-Juan le Pins Mr. Jean LEONETTY, had been apologized for their absence from the conference.

Colonel Gérald Lacoste, delegate of patriotic organizations and memorials, made a surprise at the opening, stating that on February 16, a request will be made to the municipal council to name the roundabout in the city after Misak and Meline Manushyan.

The speaker of the conference,  President Armenak APRAHAMIAN, in the introduction mentioned the roots of the spirit of Resistance in France, connecting it with the genocide against Armenians organized by the German military apparatus and carried out by the young turks.

Misak Manushyan and Meline, two children orphaned by the genocide, joined France and continued their struggle  against the Nazi occupiers as part of the FTP-MOI.

 President Armenak APRAHAMIAN closed the conference by reading the letter written on the eve of Misak's death to Meline.

Artist Nare Sargsyan was able to offer the city of Antibes-Juan-le-Pin a painting featuring Misak Manushyan and Meline against the background of "Letter to Meline".
