The 17th session was  held  on   the expert mechanism of  the rights of indigenous people at the UN in Geneva. 

Before the plenary session, which started   on Monday, a preparatory meeting was held  to work directly with the members of the expert mechanism.

The delegation of the Republic of Western Armenia was also present at the meeting.

Armenag Aprahamian, the President of the National Council of the Republic of Western Armenia, spoke about occupied Western Armenia and the study of Artsakh. 

Then President explained in what context he participated in the plenary sessions which took place at the end of September 2023 the period following the Genocide of Armenians in Artsakh  almost two months after  condemning   Baku within the framework of the United Nations.
