Armenag Aprahamian’s comrade-in-arms and longtime friend Hamik Sayadyan presented a portrait of Nubar Ozanyan to the Chairman of the National Council of Western Armenia.

Nubar Ozanyan, a volunteer fighter from Western Armenia, joined the Liberation Army in Artsakh in 1992, before returning to Western Armenia and then to Syria.

To this day, many younger generations consider themselves heirs of Nubar Ozanyan’s fighting spirit, unfortunately confusing the liberation program of Western Armenia and Artsakh with the disarmament policy of the Yerevan government.

May these young people one day find the true path to freedom in the land of our ancestors, without artificial political interference.
