On July 8, I was officially received, in my capacity as Ambassador of the Republic of Western Armenia, by His Excellency Archbishop Jorge Ignacio García Cuerva of Buenos Aires. The meeting took place at the Archbishop’s Palace in Buenos Aires.

I was accompanied by the embassy delegation: Rafael Artinyan, Sebastian Miño Gogosyan, and Simon Karamanyan (my father).

The official meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere and lasted approximately 50 minutes.

During the meeting, we presented the activities of the Republic of Western Armenia to His Excellency Archbishop García Cuerva and expressed our support for his pastoral mission, entrusted to him by His Holiness Pope Leo XIV as the head of the Our Lady of Narek Eparchy of the Armenian Catholic community of Buenos Aires.

At the conclusion of the meeting, an official photograph was taken, and the Archbishop was presented with a copy of Aurora Mardiganian’s book and a bottle of Armenian wine as gifts.
