Representatives of the Government of Western Armenia to Raise the Issue of Indigenous Armenian Rights at the United Nations

Representatives of the Government of Western Armenia have announced that during the upcoming meeting at the United Nations they intend to raise the issue of the Armenian people’s right, as an Indigenous people, to live, own land, and organize themselves in the territory of Western Armenia.

According to them, the initiative aims not only to address the issue of the international recognition of the genocide committed against Armenians but also to present the issue of protecting the rights of the Armenian people in their historical homeland on the international stage. It was announced that the discussions will emphasize the issues of rightful claims, historical justice, and the protection of the rights of Indigenous peoples.

The representatives also stated that they plan to keep the public informed about the work being carried out at the United Nations by publishing videos and messages presenting the ongoing activities and upcoming plans.
