On 17 July, the regular session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Western Armenian was held.

Before the evening session

Armenian deputies of the National Assembly met with the President of the National Council of the Republic of  Western Armenia Mr. Armenag Aprahamian and the President of the Republic of  Western Armenia,  Mrs. Lydia Margossian. Indigenous, national and strategic issues related to Western Armenia were discussed where one of the MPs from Western Armenia participated in the meeting. The meeting took place in a warm atmosphere. In the evening, the agenda session of the National Assembly has already taken place. In the first part, the President of the  Republic of  Western Armenia, Mrs. Lydia Margossian, made a speech who presented the commission of indigenous peoples at the UN, the solutions to the issues raised and the answers given.

In the second part of the agenda, the results of the decision were discussed by the deputies of the National Assembly on the  genetic resources and traditional knowledge of our origin in the United Nations.President Armenag Aprahamian said that this issue  is not closed in the UN.

At the end of the session, a number of other current issues were also discussed.
