The Armenian side did not request assistance from the CSTO during the Artsakh conflict. This was stated to journalists by Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu, according to RIA Novosti.
“There was no request from Eastern Armenia regarding assistance in that conflict,” Shoigu said after the meeting of the CSTO Security Council Secretaries Committee.
