The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh issued a statement regarding the violation of the line of contact by the Baku authorities. This was reported by the Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh.

"With such actions, the Baku authorities are trying to further tighten the blockade of Artsakh, cutting off the only connection between the capital Stepanakert and a number of villages in the Shushi region. At the same time, the Azerbaijani side tries to justify its illegal actions and provocations with fabricated statements that have nothing to do with reality.

Baku's actions to tighten the ring around Artsakh are a cynical response to the decision of the International Court of Justice concerning the immediate unblocking of the Berdzor road connecting Artsakh with the Syunik region and a challenge to the international legal order.

We expect the Russian peacekeeping forces to take practical measures to eliminate the consequences of the repeated violation of the provisions of the Tripartite Declaration of November 9, 2020 by the Baku authorities, as well as to prevent further possible violations.

Under these circumstances, it is imperative that the international community adopt a firm and united position to force the Azeri authorities to return to the legal framework and fulfill its international obligations. The international community and in particular the UN Security Council should take concrete measures aimed at the immediate opening of the Berdzor road and curbing the genocidal policy of President Aliyev," the statement said.

The government of Western Armenia has more than once referred to the illegal and brutal practices of the authorities in Baku, who do not only respect their own word, but also international agreements, continuing their policy of ethnocide. But this cannot last long, because the questions we have raised have already begun to be answered by the international community and states, and very soon all the questions will be solved
