Iran will not reopen the Strait of Hormuz to shipping until the United States accepts the conditions presented by Tehran. This was stated by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, TASS reports.
“Until these conditions are fulfilled, the legitimate rights of the Iranian people are recognized, and the Americans fulfill their obligations, there will not be even the slightest possibility of returning to the previous conditions for negotiations and reopening the Strait of Hormuz,” the parliamentary press service quoted him as saying.
