The Israeli military carried out strikes overnight on several areas in southern Lebanon, Al Jazeera reports.

According to the media outlet, the towns of Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Zawtar al-Sharqiya in the Nabatieh Governorate, in particular, came under artillery fire.

In addition, Israeli armored vehicles were reportedly spotted in several localities, including Barashit and Hadath, patrolling the streets.

It had previously been reported that, despite the framework agreement signed between the Israeli military and Lebanon on June 26, military clashes periodically occur between the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Hezbollah.
