EU Special Representative Magdalena Grono stated that she does not dispute the historical Armenian presence and rich cultural legacy in the formerly conflict-affected areas of Karabakh.

She noted that during her visits to Dadivank and Gandzasar, she personally witnessed the importance of this heritage. According to Grono, Armenian cultural heritage must be preserved and valued while remaining free from politicization and manipulation.
