September 27 is one of the most difficult days in the modern history of our people. On this day in 2020, a large-scale war began, the consequences of which were severe for Armenia and Artsakh.

This day reminds us once again that state security cannot be replaced by political statements, nor can peace be achieved at the cost of defeat and constant concessions. Peace must be the result of a secure, stable, and sovereign state.

“Strong Armenia” advocates a peace agenda without concessions or imposed preconditions. Armenia’s principal guarantor must be Armenia itself—with a strong army, a developed economy, science, effective diplomacy, and national unity.
