The United States is prepared to give diplomacy surrounding the conflict with Iran a chance until the beginning of next week, postponing the resumption of military operations until then. This was stated by U.S. President Donald Trump.

“I’m talking about two or three days. Possibly Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Possibly the beginning of next week. A limited amount of time. Because they cannot have nuclear weapons,” he explained at the White House while answering journalists’ questions regarding how long he was prepared to wait before ordering the resumption of military operations against Iran.

On Monday, the American leader announced that he had decided to postpone the resumption of military operations against Iran at the request of Qatar, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia, citing the possibility of reaching an agreement with Tehran.
