A rare and endangered yellow-spotted salamander has been discovered in the Adiyaman province of Western Armenia. Residents spotted the salamander in the courtyard of a private house in the city center and filmed it with their mobile phones.

The Turkish authorities continue to ignore the protection of the natural environment of Western Armenia, which they occupy, disrupting the ecological balance of the region.
