A 165-year-old Armenian carved stone was found as a result of digging in the city of Kharberd in Western Armenia. As the "Akos" periodical reports, it is assumed that what was found is a tombstone.

The stone, dated 1851, was found during the excavation works carried out as part of the renovation of the church in the area.

Elmon Hatcher, a specialist in art history, expressed his belief that there is a high probability of finding other similar stones in the area.

After studying the stone, it was transferred to the Elazigh Museum.
