After the restoration, the Church of St. Hripsimiantz was reopened in Constantinople

    Construction works have been completed in the Armenian Church of St. Hripsimiantz, located in the Saryer district of Constantinople, and the church has opened its doors to the faithful people. The opening ceremony was also attended by the Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople, Archbishop Sahak Mashalian.  

Murat Sume, Chairman of the Founding Council of the Church Foundation, recalled that the building was founded in 1848, he told about the details of the construction work. "St. Hripsimiantz Church is one of the most active churches in Constantinople. During the epidemic, we closed our church, as liturgies were held behind closed doors," Sume said.
