At Studio 9BC in New York, Gray Matters presented “I Remember It Differently,” an exhibition by Armenian architect and artist Anahit Hayrapetyan.
Born in Armenia and currently living and working in Brooklyn, Hayrapetyan explores memory, displacement, identity, loss, and transformation through her art.
According to the artist, her works serve as a personal diary: “What some people write, I paint.” Using ink and paper, she creates delicate and meticulously detailed images, combining strict structure with free, natural movement.
