"Marmara" daily newspaper  dated on  February 6, proudly presents to its readers the "Drvatank Magagalat" jointly awarded by the Union of Armenian Writers and the Union of American Armenian Writers and Journalists, addressed to the famous Polish-Armenian publicist Roper Hattejian.

This was a happy appreciation for Mr. Hatdejian, which coincided with his 98th birthday.

In the name of two  organizations, the award was handed over by Mrs. Lusan Pychakchi in the "Marmara" editorial office.

In fact, the two organizations awarded a similar award to another distinguished worker of contemporary Polish-Armenian literature, the poet Igna Saryaslan, again considering his prolific pen and contribution to Armenian literature.

Apart from Saryaslan and Hatdejian, the two organizations awarded "Drvatank Magagalat" awards to American Armenian novelists Sargis Vahagn, Khachkar, actors Alla Tumanyan, Hovhannes Babakhanyan, and poets Panos Jeranyan and Vazgen Vanatur.
