The author's spelling and punctuation have been preserved in the book so that the reader can better feel the writer's accent, spirit and times. The presentation of the book took place at the Abovyan branch of the "Zangak" library, in the presence of members of the writer's family, correspondents, relatives and the reading public. The evening was chaired by the editor-in-chief of the publishing house "Edit Print", writer Davit Samvelyan, who compiled and prepared the book for publication. Mushegh Galshoyan was born and raised in the village of Katnaghbyur, in the Talin region, Eastern Armenia, but the consciousness of being a Sassountsi remained very strong in him until the end of his life.
His parents were refugees from Sassoun who, upon their arrival in Eastern Armenia, chose Tallinn as their place of residence. The father lost his first family during the pogroms.
